Owing to the worldwide impact of cybercrime various countries are using legal, organizational, and technological approaches to fight against it (Chung/Chen/Chang/Chou, 2004). Cybercrime can be more prevalent in developing countries given the lapse in the amount of technology available to them also more offenders willing to commit the crimes due to high poverty rates. Some countries account for more of the variation on cybercrime activity than others, which affects less criminally involved nations as well, considering that cybercrime does not respect national borders over the internet.
